Dr. Berend Barkela researches strategic communication at the intersections of society, politics, and culture. His projects range from leadership communication in theater to the political instrumentalization of science to innovative communication strategies for the energy transition. He works in an interdisciplinary manner with communication, social, natural, and environmental sciences.
