Detlef Kurth heads the Chair of Urban Planning. His teaching and research focuses on a wide range of topics relating to urban development, urban design, urban planning and formal and informal urban planning instruments. His research focuses on sustainable urban development, urban design, social urban regeneration, climate adaptation and urban resilience.
