Annette Spellerberg studied sociology, political science, and education at the Free University of Berlin, where she also earned her doctorate. She is a professor of urban sociology at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau. Her work and research focus on urban and regional sociology, digitalization and the use of AI, housing research, demographic change, social structures, and socio-spatial inequalities.
