Experiment, discover, marvel
Experiment, discover, marvel The MINT-Mach-Pass offers many exciting workshops for children Once again this year, the RPTU invites children between the ages of 8 and 13 to immerse themselves in the world of mathematics, informatics, natural sciences and technology (MINT). From April to June, the MINT-Mach-Pass offers many exciting courses where young researchers can experiment and discover new things.
A total of 13 school laboratories and out-of-school learning centres in Kaiserslautern and Landau are organising around 40 events. The programme includes creative workshops, fascinating experiments and hands-on activities ranging from biological discovery tours to chemical and physical experiments. This year, there will be special offers for girls and new laboratories to expand the programme.
The programme starts in Kaiserslautern on 2 April and in Landau on 5 April. Registration for the free courses is available at rptu.de/zentral/mint-mach-pass. The website provides detailed information about each event and the recommended age groups. When children attend a course for the first time, they will receive their personal "MINT-Mach-Pass", in which they can place a sticker for each event they attend. Those who show their pass with the collected stickers at the final lecture can look forward to a surprise.
The MINT-Mach-Pass is part of the RPTU Children's University. Regular updates on the series of events and the Children's University can be found in the RPTU newsletter: rptu.de/zentral/kinder-uni/e-mail-newsletter. The MINT-Mach-Pass is organised by the Centre for Education and Research in Out-of-School Places (ZentrAL).
